When I left classroom teaching, my career did not end. Art, which I had always enjoyed, has now become a major part of my life.  It began with photography which I used in creative ways to express my artistic side.  I won awards at recognized salons, galleries, and exhibitions throughout the country and sold many of my works there.  I was then asked to teach some of my techniques to others at conferences and conventions.  The Photographic Society of America has included me in its Who's Who in Photography. From photography, I expanded my artistic vision and began painting, using acrylics which have a faster drying time than oils making them more suitable for work in my small space.  I may get a little paint on my hands and clothes but the process is pure joy.  These paintings have been acquired by appreciators of my art through both exhibitions and direct contact.

I have volunteered my services in various venues, including a summer camp for children experiencing the devastation of cancer.   Please contact me if you would like to schedule a presentation or purchase my art.
